At Peru’s sky-high hotel, thrill-seekers can stay in a glass pod on the side of cliff

There are literally only two ways to get into Skylodge: climb up the side of the mountain or zip-line in. The climb takes about 1.5 hours, the zip line obviously less, but either way your reward at the end – spectacular views of the Andes, a Peruvian feast and your own glass-roofed bunk.

Skylodge is the world’s first genuine adventure hotel. An idea from Nature Vive’s, a Peruvian adventure-tourism company who, until opening this ridiculously photogenic hotel, were in the business of hiking and zip lines tours.
